For residents who receive shelter and stay overnight, DRMM provides meals and the opportunity to shower and receive new clothing items. A healthy, nourishing meal could be the first step towards long-term recovery, and a healthier, stable life.

From homeless veterans to men seeking recovery from substance abuse, from women struggling to make ends-meet, to homeless women with children – DRMM offers both transitional and permanent housing to prevent any return to homelessness and addiction. DRMM believes everyone deserves care, a warm meal and a safe place to rest your head.

DRMM offers two major programs for those struggling with addictions – sub-acute substance abuse detoxification and substance abuse treatment. A wide variety of agencies such as the Michigan Department of Corrections, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Agency and Detroit Bureau of Substance Abuse Prevention, Treatment and Recovery provide referrals and funding for treatment for specific populations. Individuals with addictions who do not meet their guidelines and have no insurance are provided treatment through contributions made by our individual donors.

DRMM is not only committed to rebuilding the Detroit area, it is also truly invested in the future of the economy, the workforce, and the great opportunities that lie ahead. A variety of accredited training programs are available to 350 DRMM housing program and Michigan Prisoner Reentry Initiative clients that provide them with vocational skills and work experience. Some are offered through agreements with local colleges, others through DRMM trained staff.

Spiritual Life services are at the heart of everything we offer at DRMM. Participation in these services is voluntary, but we pray that they are offered with love and devotion to bless those who are ready to take part in them. These services are available to current and past residents of our programs, neighborhood residents, and also DRMM Staff Members and Board Members alike.

From outdoor education programs to youth summer camps, DRMM offers recreational and camp facilities that will ensure people of all ages can relax, learn and worship.

DRMM holds leadership training seminars that run year-round at their Wildwood Ranch facilities.

LAKE ORION, Mich. (WXYZ) – Across the country, illegal trades are made on the black market every day. Police in southeast Michigan say a new black market has emerged for cosmetics – specifically nail polish. Most women don’t think about …
