VA and community officials will gather in Sanford June 29 to cut the ribbon on the new Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) at 3112 Tramway Road.  The ribbon cutting ceremony starts at 10 a.m. with Rep. Renee Ellmers (R, NC 2nd District) scheduled to deliver the keynote remarks along with Sanford Mayor T. Chet Mann and VA Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network Director Daniel Hoffmann. The event is open to the public. SANFORD CBOC NOW OPEN. VA is now seeing patients at the new Sanford Community Based Outpatient Clinic at 3112 Tramway Road. At 15,000 square feet, the Henderson Drive site is more than twice the size of the previous VA Midway Park facility it replaced. The Brynn Marr Road facility VA leased last September has closed also.To reach the new Jacksonville clinic, call (910) 353-6406. Our new Fayetteville VA Health Care Center opened Nov. 3 at 7300 South Raeford Road. The new 250,000-square-foot HCC houses most of the outpatient services formerly located on Ramsey Street or at the Village Green and Breezewood clinics including primary care, mental health, outpatient specialty care and an ambulatory surgery center.The Fayetteville VA Medical Center on Ramsey Street will be used for inpatient services, an Urgent Care Center and some limited outpatient services such as dental and oncology. The movement of the outpatient services to the health care center allows renovations at the Ramsey Street site and expansion of specialty services.NOTE: The Urgent Care Center is open around-the clock daily URGENT CARE CENTER EXPANDS HOURS: Good news Veterans our Urgent Care Center (UCC) is now open 24/7.
