HOMELESS OUTREACH TEAM

helps individuals and families improve their economic and social well-being.  From toddlers to seniors, we feed, shelter, teach, and support our neighbors to build a stronger community.

In 2014, we fed the people of the Bronx over 475,000 well-balanced meals.Read more about how else we feed our community.

We had a wonderful evening at the BronxWorks 2016 Annual Gala on June 13, 2016! It was a full and interactive event celebrating BronxWorks' commitment to feed, shelter, teach and support our community and the partners that make our work possible. Over 40 participants came out and laced up for the second annual BronxWorks 5K Run/Walk! It was a warm summer morning in the Bronx's beautiful Van Cortlandt Park, with prizes, medals, a mime, and even a furry mascot! The BronxWorks team spirit was at its peak on the race course, but the competition among fundraisers is still still! Donations to show your support and help us crush our fundraising goal remain open until July 10. Congratulations to the 11 charity riders on Team BronxWorks, who braved a chilly and rainy day to ride over 40 miles through NYC in the TD Five Boro Bike Tour. Thanks to each member's fundraising goals and supporters like you, BronxWorks was able to raise over $9,000 to benefit the children's programs for our family resident shelters.These programs provide activities like art, reading, drama, and outside field trips to kids that are coping with the challenges and unknowns of homelessness.
