University of New England Medical Students Visit RMCL

As part of the Cultural Immersion Downeast 2016 program, on March 17th, seven first year DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) students spent the day at RMCL. The cultural immersion program’s mission is to provide a highly interactive and experiential program reflective of the diverse population we serve in Downeast Maine.  The students met with staff and observed providers at the health center.  Following a luncheon provided by the staff and board members, the students visited the Lighthouse at Quoddy Head State Park and toured the town of Lubec.
