Located in Roanoke, Virginia, Roanoke Comprehensive Treatment Center is a premier provider of medication assisted treatment for men and women, aged 18 and older, who wish to break free from an addiction to opioids. With programming that is geared towards assisting patients on their individual journey towards lasting sobriety, our treatment includes a combination of safe medications and therapeutic interventions that are proven effective in helping men and women achieve the recovery needed to live happy and healthy lives.

Our team of specially trained physicians and nurses understands the complex nature of opioid addiction and is experienced in caring for those caught in the grips of a heroin, morphine, and/or prescription painkiller addiction. These caring staff members closely monitor the prescribing and administration of the medications we use and work in collaboration with each patient to ensure that the most successful treatment outcomes are attained. The following medications are those that can be incorporated into our patients’ treatment plans, of which are individually tailored to meet each patient’s unique needs:

Prior to beginning medication assisted treatment at our center, patients meet with our staff to determine which of the above medications will be implemented into their treatment plans. The dosages recommended and any changes made are supervised by our medical personnel so that patients can place their attention on other aspects of the recovery process.

At Roanoke Comprehensive Treatment Center, we believe that, in order for a person to achieve true recovery from his or her opioid addiction, he or she must come to understand why and how chemical dependency became a factor in his or her life. We also believe that it is necessary for an individual to process his or her feelings and emotions during recovery, receive ample support from professionals and others who have endured similar struggles, and have a forum to share victories and setbacks while in treatment.
