Treating people with the Disease

Second Floor, New Kensington, PA 15068

Our brand new Detox building is now open!

Addiction affects the entire family. At Greenbriar, we recognize the need to involve loved ones in the recovery process to learn about addiction and codependency. Many family members don't understand why their loved one won't just quit using drugs or alcohol, despite the negative consequences. At all levels of care, we offer a family program to help you navigate the road to recovery with your loved one. If you would like to speak to an Admissions Specialist about your loved one, please call 1-800-637-HOPE (4673).

If you have been considering professional counseling for a problem with drugs or alcohol, don't wait any longer. Shame and guilt keep many people from taking the first step and calling for help. Recovery is possible and happens every day! Please call to speak to one of our Admissions Specialists at 1-800-637-HOPE (4673).

1 in 10 people in the workplace are alcoholic or addicted to other drugs. Substance use costs employers billions of dollars per year in the United States. Worse than the financial costs are the loss of lives due to the disease of addiction. If you are an employer interested in a Supervisory Training or would like us to help you with a Drug & Alcohol policy, please contact Judy Shannon at (724) 413-5716.

In order to meet the ever-growing need for treatment options, Greenbriar

built a brand new, state of the art, Detox building in 2014.  We offer a comfortable, medically safe

program for people suffering from Opiate Addiction, Alcoholism, and a variety of other drugs of abuse. Our

new building is over 8000 square feet offering a quiet environment for 14 patients to focus on the initial phase of their treatment.

Eugene "Street Sign" Taylor, had earned his nickname getting drunk and running them over. In his thirty years of sobriety he beat cancer, buried two wives, broke a hip and got fired, and never picked up a drink.

Street Sign liked to brag about his hair growing back after chemo. He'd tell you how lucky he'd been to have such wonderful women in his life. He bore no ill will toward his company, saying they didn't know if he'd come back from the hip surgery.
