We are so grateful to Richmond Times-Dispatch reporter Katie Demeria for the amazing coverage of our Say It With Heart camp. She took the time to hear our story and retell it with such compassion. (read the full story here on the Richmond Times-Dispatch)

There is evidence which suggests that exercise helps more than just physical development. Children who get regular physical activity are better able to pay attention in school and are more likely to improve their grades than children who do not. They are also less likely to have behavioral issues than children who do not engage in sports or exercise. ()

Congratulations to Curtis Lee, Travon Robinson and THE GENTS AND GEMS! They performed amazingly in front of a lively crowd in Byrd Park as part of The Sports Backers's RVA Streets Alive event. It was a hot one, but you wouldn't have know it by the energy and enthusiasm shown by these talented kids!  We are grateful to be in partnership with The Sports Backers and look forward to working together more this summer. ()
