Confidential Help for Alcohol and Drugs, Inc. (C. H. A. D.) provides a number of chemical dependency programs to residents of Auburn, Cayuga County, and surrounding areas which includes treatment and prevention services without regard to race, color, creed, sex, national origin, sexual orientation or ability to pay. Since its beginning in 1970 the agency has evolved to meet the ever challenging needs of the community but the mission has always remained constant:

We seek to enable individuals to improve their lived and reach their full potential by treating the disease of chemical depenency through physical, mental and spiritual rehabilitation.
