For good health, everyone should know their HIV and Hepatitis C status. We offer free, confidential testing for both at numerous locations throughout the community and on our mobile health units – and we can link you to the care and services you need if you test positive, as well as programs to help pay for those costs.

If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, we can help. Our NYS licensed treatment program offers many options to reclaim your life. Outpatient programming includes options for traditional treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, suboxone therapy, health promotion and counseling for those with addiction n to rx pills/heroin/opioids.

Do you need help stretching your dollars each month? Our Community Food Pantry can help by providing free, nutritious food for you and your family each month. We also offer nutrition and cooking workshops and information.

Health Homes is New York State’s new, innovative approach to provide medical care management for Medicaid beneficiaries with chronic health conditions. Community Health Action is a member of the Coordinated Behavioral Care (CBC) citywide network of providers.

Still struggling to recover from the impact of Hurricane Sandy? We are working together with SI Mental Health Society to provide FREE health and mental health services in the community and in your home. Community nurses and counselors are available to see you and help you get what you need.

The Staten Island LGBT Community Center is a safe and welcoming space for Staten Island’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and allied communities. The Center provides people with access to culturally competent and LGBTfriendly services, programs, events and activities.

Community Health Action of Staten Island (CHASI) has been providing criminal justice-related services since 1993—initially at Arthur Kill Correctional Facility on Staten Island and now at Queensboro Correctional Facility. CHASI also has a robust program to reintegrate parolees back into their communities.
