Hale Na`au Pono is non-profit mental health center serving the needs of the Wai`anae Community.

Our Adult Programs include:

1. 8- to 16- & 24-Hour Group Homes - Hale Kukunaokala

We have six homes--five in Waianae and one in Kaneohe.  This service is funded by the DOH Adult Mental Health Division.  If you are interested in learning more about this program, please have your case manager call Monica Hambaro at 696-4212.

2. Case Management - Malama Ola

This services is funded through `Ohana CCS Health Plans.  If you need help because of problems with mental illness, please Call Janice Kamai at 696-4212 for more information.

3. Outpatient Therapy - Malama Ola

If you are having problems in your life and need someone to talk to please Call Janice Kamai at 696-4212 for more information.

4. Alcohol or Other Drug Outpatient Treatment - Ho`okaulike

If your alcohol or drug use is making it difficult to live the life you want to live, please call 696-4212 to schedule a confidential assessment. This service is funded in part by the DOH Alcohol & Drug Abuse Division. 

5. Homeless Outreach / Interim Case Management

If you or someone you know is struggling with behavioral health issues we can help you set up and navigate services.  Please call Stacey at 696-4212 to set up an appointment. This service is funded by the DOH Adult Mental Health Division. 

Our Childrens Programs include:

1. Transitional Family Homes with Respite Services

Family Guidance Center Care Coordinators may call Karin Kaio at 696-9498 or fax referrals to 696-3716.  This service is funded by DOH Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division.

Youth Probation Officers may call Karin Kaio at 696-9498 or fax referrals to 696-3716.  This service is funded by Hawaii Judiciary.

Our Family Services include:

1. Wai`anae Neighborhood Place - Ka Wahi Kaiaulu

If you are having problems with family members or making ends meet and you don't know where to find help, we have answers.  Call 696-4598 or 696-1067 for information. This service is funded by Blueprint For Change.

2. `Ohana Kako`o Resource Program

If you need help locating resources on the Coast, visit or Call 696-4598 for answers.  This service is funded by Hawaii Community Foundation.

If you want to see if you qualify for SNAP benefits (food stamps) please call us at 696-4598.  Rules have changed and you may now be entitled to benefits. This service is funded by the the Department of Human Services.
