Kootenai Health provides a comprehensive range of medical services to patients in north Idaho, eastern Washington, Montana and the Inland Northwest at several facility locations. Kootenai Hospital is a full-service hospital and health center in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Kootenai Hospital offers a wide-range of inpatient and outpatient services including: heart and cardiac care, state-of-the-art operating rooms and robotic surgery, a childbirth center offering neonatal care, a sleep disorders center, chemical dependency treatment and an inpatient psychiatric unit. Outpatient services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, aquatic therapy and pediatric therapy. Our emergency room is a verified level III trauma center. The ER is also the busiest emergency room in the state of Idaho and boasts some of the fastest response times and shortest waits in the region.
