United Community Health Center (UCHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is a medical home that provides primary and preventive health care to the population of southern Arizona and is open to all regardless of their ability to pay. Currently there are eight community health centers under the umbrella of UCHC, collectively providing care to more than 14,132 patients and filling the critical gaps in health care serving the working poor, the uninsured, the medically underserved and many high-risk and vulnerable populations.

United Community Health Center (UCHC) is committed to ensuring that everyone who needs primary healthcare, regardless of their age, insurance status and/or ability to pay have a welcoming place to come for support. This has been their mission for almost three decades and will continue to be so into the future. UCHC serves a vast rural area in Southern Arizona that previously had very few medical support services available to a population that is mostly uninsured or underinsured. UCHC works hard to ensure that all of their patients are well served in well-equipped surroundings and supported by a welcoming and capable staff.

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) announced that United Community Health Center of Southern Pima County has received NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition for using evidence-based, patient-centered processes that focus on highly coordinated care and long-term, participative relationships.

We deliver quality care that is accessible, comprehensive, innovative, compassionate and culturally sensitive in an atmosphere of trust and respect

United Community Health Center will be a premier Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to delivering the highest quality care to the people and communities we serve.
