Connecticut Institute For Communities is pleased to announce that Elizabeth (Liz) A. Martucci, CMA, has been appointed as CIFC's new Chief Financial Officer. Liz is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Accounting and holds an MBA from Western Connecticut State University. She has over 20 years of financial executive experience, primarily with Pitney Bowes. During that time, she worked with complicated global budgetary systems as well as collaborating and supervising financial professionals in varied areas of corporate fiscal operations. A longtime member of the Greater Danbury community, Liz lives in New Fairfield with her husband, Brian, and their two children. After working in the for-profit arena, Liz moved to the non-profit sector with a passion to 'give back to the community� and to use her expertise and experience 'to

 The Greater Danbury Community Health Center (GDCHC), sponsored by Connecticut Institute For Communities (CIFC), is pleased to announce that Dr. Kristine M. Lisi, M.D. has joined the Health Center as GDCHC's new Medical Director/Chief of Internal Medicine. Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Lisi has extensive experience working as a Primary Care Physician at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Community Network, as Assistant Professor at Quinnipiac University School of Medicine, and from 2012 as Medical Director of the Family Health Center at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Dr. Lisi takes a passionate, holistic approach to healthcare. When asked to elaborate, she explained, 'it means you have to understand that a patient is a person – body, mind and spirit, not just a disease. Danbury, CT.  Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Danbury Mayor Mark D. Boughton, James H. Maloney, JD, CIFC President and Chief Executive Officer, and Dr. Francis J. Muska, PhD, CIFC Board Chair, joined by other Project Partners recently formally commenced construction of a new building for CIFC's Greater Danbury Community Health Center (GDCHC).  The new building is being built at 120 Main Street in downtown Danbury, diagonally across the street from St. Peter Church.
