CommuniCare Health Centers is a full-service primary healthcare system with 12 locations serving Bexar, Kendall and Hays counties. We offer an array of services including pediatric medicine, family medicine, senior care, women's health, dental, behavioral health, minor surgery, and WIC services. Specialty services are offered at some locations in conjunction with our partners for vision care, hepatitis care and general surgery. We provide integrated primary care delivered by highly-trained healthcare providers, utilizing state of the art diagnostic equipment and electronic health records.

University Health System is Bexar County and South Texas' first and only health system to earn Magnet status. Only about six percent of U.S. hospitals have earned this prestigious designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Washington D.C. University Hospital, currently operating 498 beds, is one of just 15 Level I trauma centers in Texas, and the lead trauma center for all of South Texas. It is the only hospital in San Antonio able to provide expert trauma care for critically injured and burned children. The Emergency Center at University Hospital is the busiest in the region and averages nearly 70,000 visits each year. The University Transplant Center is a 2008 and 2009 Medal of Honor recipient from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and achieves patient outcomes exceeding national averages for kidney, liver and lung transplantation.

Methodist Healthcare Ministries (MHM) is a private, faith-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing medical and health-related human services to low-income families and the uninsured in South Texas.

The mission of the organization is "Serving Humanity to Honor God," by improving the physical, mental and spiritual health of those least served in the Southwest Texas Conference area of The United Methodist Church. The Texas Liver Institute (TLI) is a one-of-a-kind facility, and one of the very few dedicated and freestanding clinical care and research facilities in the world. The most advanced research in viral hepatitis, fatty liver disorders, and cirrhosis is being conducted in this facility, which has been recognized internationally for its contributions to the field of liver diseases.

Baptist M & S Imaging is one of the first established radiology groups in San Antonio and provides the full scope of radiology services, ensuring quality, affordability and convenience for doctors and patients at multiple locations across San Antonio.

Advanced Imaging San Marcos was created for the communities within Hays, Caldwell, and Guadaulpe counties, which lacked a locally-owned and operated outpatient imaging center. Advance Imaging offers same-day scheduling, extended hours, film or CD delivery, a bilingual staff, payment plans and cash discounts.
